Sayer card is a way to facilitate your travel around Sharjah. It enables the passengers to pay tickets electronically on Sharjah Public Transport buses. This technology can save your precious time whenever you travel by bus.

Present your SAYER card on a Ticket machine in Sharjah Public Transport bus.

The trip amount will be deducted from your SAYER Card

Please keep the SAYER ticket receipt till the end of journey for the inspection purpose.

SAYER Ticket Receipt will have details of amount charged and balance amount available in your SAYER Card

The time interval for issuing the second ticket is 15 minutes

Sayer Cards Availability:

Sayer Cards are available on-board Sharjah Public Transport Buses by paying the driver.

Sales Options:

Sayer Cards can be purchased and recharged in Sharjah Public Transport buses by asking the driver.

Sayer Discount Card:

Passengers can purchase new SAYER Discount Cards from on-board Sharjah Public Transport buses with 2 denominations.

AED 50 = will have a pre-charged amount of AED 45

AED 95 = will have a pre-charged amount of AED 90

Note: An initial Sayer Card purchase fee of AED 5 inclusive of 5% VAT which covers the cost of the card.

Sayer Subscription Card:

Passengers can purchase new SAYER Subscription Cards from on-board Sharjah Public Transport buses

AED 225 = Unlimited Travel valid for 30 Days

Note: An initial additional Sayer Card purchase fee of AED 5 inclusive of 5% VAT which covers the cost of the card.

How to Top-up Sayer Cards in the Bus?

1. Board any Sharjah Public Transport bus and ask the driver for SAYER Discount Card or SAYER Subscription Card top-up

2. Inform the amount to the driver to top-up.

a. Sayer Discount Card:

AED 45

AED 90

b. Sayer Subscription Card:

AED 225 (valid for 30 days)

3. Take the SAYER Card together with the purchase receipt.

4. The purchase receipt will show the previous balance plus the amount added to your SAYER Card.

Benefits of Registering SAYER Cards

The registered SAYER Cards can be hot-listed, an important safeguard should it be lost, stolen or damaged. Hot-listing disables the SAYER Cards from further use and enables the value on the lost, stolen or damaged SAYER Cards to be transferred to a replacement SAYER Cards.

Once a SAYER Card has been registered to a person, it cannot be re-registered in another person’s name.

Note: Unregistered SAYER Cards will not be eligible for replacement and balance transfer.

What is the difference between SAYER cards and normal tickets?

The difference between SAYER Cards and normal tickets is that SAYER Cards are reloadable/rechargeable, easy access on the bus, saves your precious time while the paper ticket, trip has to be paid to the bus driver in cash which is cheaper than Cash ticket.

How can I check the remaining balance and validity of my SAYER cards?

The balance and validity of your SAYER Cards are shown in your SAYER ticket issued by the bus driver every time you travel with Sharjah Public Transport Buses.

What can I do if SAYER card lost or stolen?

Immediately call the customer service hotline at 600522282 by reporting your card serial number and our agent will disable the card within 48 hours. Only registered Sayer Card can be hot-listed

How should I look after my SAYER card?

Keep your card in its wallet, separate it from other credit / debit cards and don't bend the card.
