Exempt Categories
A special card issued by the Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah for the disabled, the elderly and the beneficiaries of social assistance.
It is an official document that enables the owner to use the public transport service within Sharjah city free of charge.
Mandatory Required Documents
- Personal Photo.
- Copy of the passport.
- Copy of Emirates ID.
- Copy of ID card from Ministry of Community Development.
- Copy of ID card from Social Services Department.

| Renewal Card | Renewal fee: 25 AED inclusive of 5% VAT will be charged for the Exempt Card every year |
| Lost or Damaged Card | Replacement fee: 25 AED inclusive of 5% VAT will be charged against the Damaged and Lost Card |

Collection Point of Exempt Category Cards
All the New Exempt Category Cards, Renewal and Replacement Cards can be collected from Government of Sharjah - Roads & Transport Authority, Al Jubail Bus Terminal Cashier Office
Timings: All Days of the week (Sunday to Saturday) 10AM to 5PM

Note: Valid Emirates ID must be presented at the time of Card Collection
Frequently Asked Questions
- The applicant must be a UAE national or resident of the UAE.
- The applicant must be disabled or elderly.
